Blue Ridge Needleart is a full service needlework store located in the historic district of Blowing Rock, NC.  I am Peg Edwards, the happy owner and founder and have been doing various needleart forms for over 40 years, having been taught by my grandmothers as a small child.

I have been designing under Peg Edwards Originals for 20 years and I have expertise in needlepoint, cross stitch, knit and crochet, having taught on television on such shows as the Carol Duvall Show, Aleene’ Creative Living and For Your Home on PBS. 

I make Whirlwind Crazy Yarn, a super bulky compilation of over 40 fibers worked together for gauge.  I also carry Lantern Moon knitting and crochet needles, hooks, baskets and a host of accessories.  In addition, I have Clover bamboo needles and accessories and the Della Q line of silk needle and hook cases.

I carry handpainted needlepoint canvases by a variety of designers, counted cross stitch charts and kits, fabric and a huge selection of fibers.  I offer finishing services and classes. 

It is my pleasure to assist anyone in any needleart form from beginner to custom designs.
